Recent Client: Circus Theme Party Printables

Here's some work i'm doing for a recent client!
A cute and simple Circus Theme!
still in the edit stage but loving how they are coming together!
This package will soon be available in my shop: Pretty Paperie

you want a pink circus?? i can make that happen ;)

We changed the colors of the tent around till we got just the right look!

she didn't even order cupcake toppers but i threw them in anyways because they turned out so cute!

I think i'm going to start putting my circle labels in a 2x2 square box of color so you could use a scalloped craft punch! i did that for my tiny two theme client and they look adorable!
The items shown in this post:
goodie bag favor tags
circle labels (used for cupcake toppers and other details)
water bottle labels
3x5 personal note paper (guests write a memory or wish for the child)
snack cup wrappers (they go with wilton's snack cups..perfect for a dessert table)
tented cards (used for menu/drink labels-prop infront of item or cut and stick to jar w/ribbon)

My Entrepreneurial Siblings - Blanqi and David Caron Design

My brother pointed out to me the other day that everyone in my family right now is working for themselves...we don't have a "boss"... my dad started up his business, my mom is a full time grandma right now, my sister has blanqi, david has david caron design... i have my blog and pretty paperie/nataliecatherinedesign.... and my little brother is in college!

Featured Etsy Client-Tiny Two Party Invite & more

When I was recently contacted about helping with a Tiny Two Party theme I was thrilled! The first of many details she asked me to create for her was the invite itself. It's the size of a business card. I love how she ended up packaging them..with a cute tiny magnifying glass. I can see all her little one's friends loving getting that in the mail!
for more of what i do for fun check out my etsy shop...Pretty Paperie.
If you have a theme you are thinking of doing for a party coming up but not sure where to start or how to make your ideas a reality send me an e-mail!

Charleston Wedding - Tim Will Photography

A recent post from a friend's blog caught my eye and i HAD to share.. Tim Will Photography. I always ooh and ahh over his work. it's amazing. He has the best eye in capturing gorgeous moments. and his post  production work is just as incredible. Tim and I share lots of mutual friends and he and his wife went to the same college as my husband and i. He shot one of my best friend's weddings in the spring..he was invisible at the event but he caught all the special shots perfectly! I'm a HUGE fan of his work and think you should check him out..tell him the busy budgeting mama sent you. :) His work is so diverse he does everything from Family Portrait Sessions to Weddings to Editorial work.
Tim and Sarah with their adorable litte boy! they are expecting their second baby in a few weeks.. i keep up with sarah on facebook and she is a glowing mama! congrats guys.. so excited for you!
you'll love having two bambinos. :)
I love this wedding that he shot in Charleston, SC.
The Bride, Nicole, designed every last detail herself and all her hard work payed off...gorgeous!
I want to throw another wedding......can i marry ben again?
(is a 5 year anniversary too soon for a huge party?!? ;)

"Am i losing it?" Mama Moments: Video Post.

some of my recent "am i losing it?"
 mama moments.
1. searching the house for the poptarts and finding them where i put them...in the fridge.
2. finding myself in public doing the mama sway even when i'm not holding a baby.
3. almost getting into the shower with my bra on.
4. In an e-mail to a client i wrote editional instead of additional....nice.
5. returning the swiffer i bought because it didn't work..only to come home with a new one to find it not working as well.....steaming in the shower planning what i'm going to say to the manager when i return it again....only to be told by my husband when i got out that he found the place where the batteries go........doh.

please tell me i am not the only one experiencing this brain loss from motherhood exhaustion?!?... ;)

lately with the move i've been feeling slightly unorganized.. Which makes it hard to take care of the two baby girls.. especially when you are trying to do a diaper change and the diapers you just bought are hidden behind a wall of boxes that got moved around from unpacking..things like that are slowing me down. We are still getting everything back to normal in the kitchen as well so i haven't been able to cook meals like i want to. I was starting to feel overwhelmed and not the world's greatest mother but realized after having a great conversation with my husband that things are coming together..and as i pulled sophia out of the car with a sucker stuck to her pants i prayed for some patience and graces to get through the chaos of the move with two little ones. Today was actually one of the first days where i had the girls to myself most of the day and i got a lot done and made some progress with getting unpacked. ::shocking:: so who cares about those ding dong moments..i just need to believe in myself more..that i actually know what i'm doing as a mom..i can do this! shower or not.  ;) and so can you.

my sweeties.

my mornings. very glamorous. ;)

good morning photos from my ipod touch..my new toy, it's so fun. but sophia seems to think it his her new toy....working on that. :)

would love to hear some of your mama moments! As women and mothers i really feel like we should support each other! help each other to laugh at the craziness of our days and encourage one another. we don't need to think we have to be perfect...and we should believe in ourselves more. so for those of you who have been feeling like you are losing it sometimes and not sailing through your days feeling like you have it all under control...you are not alone. :)

Elephant 3 Ring Circus Baby Shower

I fell in love with this shower from these amazing photos! the details are incredible and totally do-able! I need more friends to get pregnant so i can throw them a shower like this! haha.

found the shower on kara's party ideas  via gertrude and mabel

I have gotten so much inspiration for little diy party details from this shower. they did an amazing job!
I loved baby elephants ever since i was a kid.. i wanted one for a pet. maybe that is why i'm drawn to the cute little pink baby elephants throughout this baby shower. so cute. :)
this is a great idea...using ribbon around the platter for a sweet whimsical touch..
so impressed with this table..everything they served was very approachable and simple and yet they made it look so elegant and sophisticated. the table linen is what made the look.. not sure what they used but i think i've seen shower curtains with this similar design that you could use over a white table cloth to get a similar look.
 Gorgeous presentation..
the yarn poms are a great touch...and those drink choices go great with the theme with their pretty color and elephant cutouts.
the bunting is simply adorable... white and shades of pink streamers with stringed up elephant cut outs and are those clouds?? whatever they are..i love it. and using mason jars as glasses with the names applied is a great idea. very sweet.
love the yummy dessert tray below..not sure what they served but i can see you making up angel food cake with a strawberry on top..maybe a drizzle of something yummy over it. and the sweet detail to the chairs is a pretty and simple touch. (ikea chairs?? love those.)
i haven't seen a chalkboard like this before but i can see transforming a garage sale find mirror into one of these! perfect touch for parties. i'm going to hunt for one now haha.
