MS Awareness
A college friend of mine was recently diagnosed with a sever case of Multiple Sclerosis this past March. Overnight she was left disabled and has
spent over the past 4 months in and out of hospitals and rehabs.
She has started working hard to promote MS and raise money for a cure.
Her mission is close to my heart because my Aunt also suffers from Multiple Sclerosis.
Maybe some of you know someone who also has been diagnosed..
Please offer some prayers of support for Elizabeth..
and if you can donate to help find a cure..
know that you are helping to change someone's life!

I haven't seen Elizabeth in forever..
but I remember her from school as a beautiful, joyful, bubbly, loves-life kinda girl.
I know that if anyone has the inner strength and courage to battle this..
it's Elizabeth. Here's her story so far in her own words..
"Multiple Sclerosis Is an autoImmune disease that affects the brain and spinal chord, the central nervous system. Ms is caused by damage to the myelin sheath, the protective covering that surrounds nerve cells. When this nerve covering is damaged, nerve signals slow down or stop. The nerve damage is caused by inflammation, occurring when the body's own immune cells attack the nervous system.
