DIY -New Baby Gifts for Your Nurses

When I had both of my girls,
I made up gifts to give our nurses.
Nurses love candy...
Nurses love patients that GIVE them candy!
I was treated like the queen of sheeba and it felt good
to be able to give them a little treat to
thank them for all they do!
I would give the nurses who came in my room each a treat bag..and
when I had energy to walk around I took a stroll to the nurses station to make sure I didn't miss anyone on my wing. They turned into a bunch of little trick or treaters ;)

Last night during the Presidential Debate..I made up the new baby gifts for our nurses!
Super easy to make. Just printed the treat bag tags..cut them out..filled the snack size ziploc bags with candy..stapled the labels to them. this DIY is DONE. ready to have this baby. ;)

In the past I wrapped chocolate bars with a
little printable I made up. (TUTORIAL POST HERE)
This time around, I wanted to put a little chocolate and
non chocolate treat in the treat bags.

If you would like to purchase this
printable, I added it to my etsy shop!
If you are wanting treats to give to your hospital visitors instead of nurses..
I can change the "Thank you for all you do!" wording to
say "Love, The ______ Family"
Just mark in the note to seller box when you order.

I love stripes.
I love chevron.
and I loveee grey and yellow.
Perfect color combo for a baby girl or boy..
which is perfect because we have no clue what we are having!
Torture. :)

Gifting Dinner- Pretty Printables & Packaging

We all know someone who would
appreciate a little loving...like a yummy home cooked meal delivered right to their doorstep! I know a few mamas like that...all having or just had a baby.

So I created some printables to use when I bring them dinner!
I thought it would make it extra special and You know I love making things extra pretty. :)

I just printed out the printables I designed..and taped them to my containers!
An easy DIY that added a personalized touch.

Big Sister Activity Kit- Dollar Store
I am alllll to familiar with not being able to sit down and eat because I'll be holding a fussy baby and have a 2 yr old also wanting my attention..
I wanted to give my friend a little bit of help in the entertainment department of her daughter!
The kit was a hit.. She was thrilled.. and it made me smile. :)
It's DELICIOUS. and is a yummy alternative to your typical casserole.
They just have to pop it in the oven for 30 minutes to get it nice and toasty melty.
I also chopped up some fresh lettuce washed and ready to go!
I made the chocolate covered oreos the day I was dropping this dinner off.

It keeps me from wanting to eat the entire batch myself haha.
it's called smart procrastination. ;)
This is a favoriteeee apple crisp recipe that we've
made forever in our family. recipe posted here.
I like to think it's healthy because there's apples in it..haha.
Those diaper boxes come in handy..
in our house they are used as pretend race cars and bath tubs..
and now to carry yummy dinners!
Packaged up and ready to deliver...(I threw in some cute shoes for the new baby. :)
