Cupcakes in Charlotte-Off to Atlanta!

So we drove down the other night to Charlotte..

Celebrated Sienna's 2 yr old Birthday at my parent's house..

then drove in yesterday to Atlanta for my big brother's wedding weekend!

Oh Atlanta..I've missed you.

I have not missed your traffic. :)

Sienna is 2 Today! - Memory Lane

I can't even believe that Sienna is TWO today!!

She is such a sweetie pie...my big girl.

If you ask her how old she is

she says.. "twee"....haha.

That makes sense because she thinks

she is bigger than she is.

She is our little spunky cuddle bug.

I can't help but look back at how she has grown...and remember how tinyyy she was.

When she was first born we were like oh my gosh...she is an angel babyyy!

and then her jaundice went away and the real sienna came out. haha.

(ben: "how do we get the jaundice back?!?..(joking.......)

A wild, ready to take on the world but totally sweet and lovey little girl

joined our little family..and made it perfect.

We are in Charlotte at my parent's house before traveling on to atlanta for my brother's wedding. Having a mini celebration tonight with cheeseburgers and cupcakes. :)

Their joint birthday party is at the end of the month.

(Sophie's birthday is in 15 days! more cupcakes! hehe.)

A glimpse into Once Upon A Time Land! - My Daughters' Storybook Princess Party

So my brother is getting married saturday!! 

Family is starting to arrive and we spent post dinner practicing dance moves. 
(i feel like i blog about our dance parties a lot...we have them a lot.

daddy started this one! The Old School Funk Channel actually has some good beats.......haha.) 

But before I sign off for the wedding weekend festivities..
I wanted to give a Sneak Peek of my girls' birthday party 
that I'll be sharing next week! 
Lots of fun DIY and budget friendly ideas that I used for my daughters' Storybook Princess Party!

I created different areas in "Once Upon a Time Land"..here's a couple shots of the fun!! Each area had different activities to go with it. I'm all about interactive play areas at parties. I have a 1 and 3 yr old...the key to success is keep..them..busy.. :) (The only way I got any dishes done today was to let sienna build towers of tupperware at my feet. they are still sitting there. but at least I can see the sink.

VLOG-Summer Fun & Today Sienna turns ONE!

A year ago today.. 

our sweet, fiesty, giggle box sienna was born.

I didn't know my heart could love another baby like I love our 3 yr old Sophia....

but with each baby your heart just grows and grows I guess! 

I love her so much!

 We've had a crazy busy year..

it has zoomed by and been full of fun and adventures!

I love you Sienna...

Happy Birthday sweetie!!

I feel so blessed to be able to be your mommy.

Sienna has been walking all over the house. She is non stop wanting to be just like her big sister..and more. She is gonna be trouble haha...She is fiesty and strong and stubborn. if you can even be called stubborn when you are one! she is just soo into learning everything and wanting to try it all out herself. I think she thinks she is 3 like sophie.

She is still snuggly though..blows kisses and her favorite thing to do is point and go ssssssss..which we think came from us always pointing to Jesus on the cross and saying Jesusss! Now she just points at everyone and makes that noise. ;) She dances...shaking her head around and doing a 'cool face.' it makes us laugh so hard! She waves all the time..she thinks everyone is her adoring public. which they are. ;)

Sienna loves to give moochies..
And we love to give them back!

We've had so many fun days with our sweet girl at the park and in the yard..snuggles on the couch..and me tiptoeing into her room to take a photo while she sleeps..
ben says i'm living risky. you HAVE to have at least one good photo of your sleeping baby!

yesterday we met our sienna..sort of. ;)
I LOVE looking back at these photos.. 
it was such a fun and exciting day!! 
I loved seeing sophia meeting her little sister.. she was in awe!
