different friends have been posting these videos on their blogs and facebook and i thought they were awesome and wanted to pass them along to you!
It's so easy for us to get caught up in the busy busy of Christmas. So here is my little reminder to myself and anyone reading to stop for a minute and remember what we are celebrating. the birth of Jesus! God's gift to us. I really want to bust out the nativity story books for my sophia so she can have the fun of santa but at the same time be excited about Jesus' Birthday!!
During Christmas time, i can't help but admire the woman that Jesus' mother, Mary, was. for those of us who have been pregnant and in labor....riding a mule and giving birth in straw does NOT..sound like fun. She was such a holy and amazing example to us and I strive each day to be just like her! I have felt her working in my life leading me to her Son. And I am thankful for her yes.
you all know how i will use any excuse to throw a party..and i think
that Jesus' birthday is a pretty good excuse. ;) Can't wait to share
how we are decorating the house for the Christmas Season!
Recent silly moment with my sophia.. i had to explain to her that noo..she can not wear her stocking around the house. she finally gave in and said "ok, i'll wear my tiny ones." haha. A friend said she had the same "discussion" with her little daughter. she told her they
were santa's socks haha. to which i replied..perfect! that is my back up answer because
i know that this will come up again in our house. ;)
