Your Personal Bargain Shopper: Ikea Edition + Photo Shoot sneak peak!

In this feature i'm going to be showcasing some of the finds that grab my eye. We dont' always have time as busy moms to scavange out a great bargain or find! so... let me do some looking for you. :) i don't mind the excuse to go shopping. i'll just tell the hubby it's for the blog. hehe.

I love these..they would look so cute with pink lemonade out on the tables for a party this spring!
or even lined up in your kitchen. so cute.

Sofia Fabrics - $7.99 per yard
Gunvor Fabrics - $6.99 per yard
they have lots of fabric that i love..
i made my kitchen curtains out of this fabric!
(well..my mom made them. i supervised. hehe. i reallyyyy want to buy a sewing machine.
it's on my "pretty please i love you so much ben" list. ;)

Sophia's Favorites:
the colors on this were so cute. she kept going to it and just touching it.
looked sturdy and was a great height.  plus that pink is adorable. it comes in blue, pink and green!

soooo in love with this frame. so was ben.
we don't need it right now but one day..we are going to work it into a room in our house.
.................................................................................................................................................

and a trip to ikea wouldn't be complete without a trip across the street to the pet store..
we couldn't resist. hehe. the puppies were soooo cute!!
i almosttt wanted to get one. then i remembered that i'm not insane.

Here's some shots ben took at the Pittsburgh Fashion magazine shoot yesterday.
it was so fun!! the team there was great..and made me feel all fabulous and like a pro! what a great experience..i'm so glad i said yes. Ben was chasing sophia around most of the time (our babysitter got sick!) so he didn't have a chance to take many photos.

hot mama here i come!
they had two girls curling my hair at the same time...i wanted to take them home with me. :)
I did the cover shot with 3 or 4 other outfit changes for the inside story. then they had me model some outfits they had pulled for a maternity fashion article in another area of the magazine.
the hours of watching america's next top model payed off???... haha maybe. but i was kicking up my legs and doing poses..it was seriously hilarious looking back at it. but we were having fun and i can't wait to see how they turned out.

they put my hair up for the cover shot...it was even more amazing then my wedding hair haha. i changed into my pink calvin klein dress that i got for 10 bucks at gabes. it was the photographer's favorite.
candid shot.

i was at the shoot for like 5 hours.. so by the end we were exhausted and hungry so while sophia slept in the backseat ben ran in and grabbed chipotle to go! yum.
(ps i love this guy so much. he's silly and sweet and the best dad/husband ever. he was so supportive all through the shoot and makes me feel beautiful every day. they are going to put this in the article.....the day the editor randomly approached me in the kiddie area of the mall i had been so emotionally pregnant..crying that morning that i was huge and ben as i was walking out the door hugged me and said natalie you are so beautiful you could be a model! they thought that was the craziest coincidence ever and were like please let us put that in!!) They are going to e-mail me in the next couple days with questions for the article. can't wait!
home sweet home.. but wanted to take a close up of my makeup from the shoot. i loved what she did!

i'll post more about the shoot when they send me some of the photos! can't wait! some of the outfits and looks were so glamorous! go here to check out the magazine's website. i'm so excited to be a part of it. if you are in the pittsburgh area you should go grab a copy!!! :)

hope you had a great weekend, talk to you later!

ps check this out..show off your inner martha stewart. i am!
we get to brag away at my house of giggles!! hehe.
